Krieger HEMA Parrying Dagger D1

A large dagger with a heavily expanded hilt, which was designed to be used in the left hand. Polish and french names of this weapon comes exactly because of this fact. This type of weapon was very popular in western Europe throughout 16th and 17th centuries as support in rapier or sword fencing style based on thrusting weapons.

Krieger weapon's design is based on large, specialized historical specimens of parrying daggers used in duels. Weapon parameters - even during the design phase - were consulted and tested in cooperation with the Polish HEMA Federation - DESW FEDER. The weapon is consistent with most of the European HEMA tournament regulations.
